found this in about 2 minutes after putting the words "sims cheat" in
goggle....DUHHHHHHHHHH
There are only really three cheats worth using:
Press Ctr-Shft-c to activate cheats screen (press escape to
deactivate)
1. rosebud - this cheat will add $1000 to your account. I'd
recommend using this as a way of "sueing" the computer when
it peeves you off (by locking up etc.)
2. move_objects on - this cheat will make it possible to move
anything within the game. That includes people and objects in
use. Some uses include:
* Deleting sims from the lot especially cranky family members.
You will be able to get them back with green stats and
skills/personality/job equivalent to what it was prior to your
last save. Doesn't seem to work on inventory as I painfully
discovered of my newly fired, carrot wielding sim.
* Move a sitting sim to another seat and take his dinner
with him
* Satisfy your suspicions by moving the lovebed out from
under them (good for X-rated exorcist photos)
* Sometimes you have that psychic feeling a fire is going
to burst from your oven or your game just takes a couple
of seconds to react. When you feel/hear this, quickly
go into buy mode and move the fire before it deactivates
the buy/build mode. I'm still looking for a cheat to
preserve the build/buy mode in the case of an emergency
* Lock that darn Jazz man (W.C Nasty) in the toilet stall
providing you have the simslice buy enabler for old town
3. prepare_lot - very useful for "counting" your sims. This
cheat will work by bringing everybody to a certain point,
cancelling all interactions from the queue and bringing
everybody home from work (emergency cheat). It also puts
the walls back up, places the house on its original point
of view at medium range. Dinners will become spawn-free
as well as unprepared and in need of cooking. Use this cheat:
* When a sim is stuck and you can't use the move_objects cheat;
you may be downtown without the enabler
* Moving a sim with cheat 2 is good in theory but if they're in
an action loop, they will still be unusable wherever they're moved.
Using this cheat will "free" them and make them available.
* When you get tired of waiting for your sim to come home from
work (he/she won't get paid though)
* When you can't bear to think that all the food has gone to
waste
* When you teleport a pet (they appear invisible on the lot)
* When your sim kid wants to wag school (and caught by the
parents who are wagging work)
4. map_edit on - the lot suddenly changes in a mirage of
pretty little colours. The purplish, dark colours indicate
the part of your lot that can be used for building (without
resorting the the move_objects on cheat) and the lighter, pink
bits indicate out-of-bounds. If you want to increase the
value of your land (in your own mind) then play around.
You will notice editable bits in that they will have the
grid. Use map_edit off to return once finished. Uses:
* If you do build on out-of-bounds area (using cheat no.2) then
the object will not appear in the neighbourhood, bird's eye
view. Of course, you're going to get a satallite's eye view
with unleashed; but if you still worry about looks and just
have to build on forsaken land, then at least use this cheat
to make it legal.
* Make certain parts unusable so that your next tenant will
have a really hard time
* Make it all usable so that you can build a nice fence
around the outskirts and see it in neighbourhood view
* Make it so you can edit those nasty slopes in pergatory zones
