Help !

My 1st cd for The Sims Deluxe Edition is scratched and it will not install.
I did a manual install and copied all of the files except one. I need the
file "Data2" it is in the "Setup" folder on the first disc. It is a cabinet
file and is 387,068 kb.

You should complain to EA Games. They are usually happy to help you get
a new disc.

You should complain to EA Games. They are usually happy to help you get a
new disc.

Try going to the EA Customer help site and put in the word "scratched" if
you have the legal cd. It's part of their copy protection so if you have a
pirated version it won't work.
They do explain how to copy and install the legal disks manually on the
helpsite so maybe you didn't do the copying properly.
